At least one author for each accepted paper must register and present their paper. Kindly use conference code: CONFR-151-EED and Remarks: CERA 2023- paper ID. After the payment (save your transaction number), mandatorily fill out the google form by clicking here.

REGISTRATION FEES

Details regarding the fees are in the following table. We encourage researchers to seize this opportunity and promptly register to prevent any last-minute rush.

FINAL PAPER SUBMISSION AND PROCESSING

PRESENTATION:

  • Accepted papers can be presented either in-person or virtually.
  • Please note all papers MUST be presented at the conference in order to be included in IEEE Xplore. If you do not present your paper at the conference, it will not be posted to Xplore.

 

PAPER REVISION:

  • Final paper length must be limited to 6 pages.
  • Similarity score must be within 30% (inclusive of bibliography).
  • Author names and title in copyright and camera-ready paper must be same.
  • Overall formatting must be as per IEEE format.
  • All the reviewer’s comment must be addressed.

 

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION AND PRESENTATION:

  • IEEE policy states that ALL papers accepted in CERA 2023 must have at least one author registered.
  • Author registered under Academic/Industry is allowed to present two papers at the conference. For authors registered under the student category are allowed to present only one paper.

  • Please mention in remarks CERA2023-paper ID.
  • The deadline for author registration is October 05, 2023.

FINAL PAPER SUBMISSION:

After you have registered and paid in full for the conference, please follow the instructions below to prepare your final paper and upload it:-

  • Formatting checks are enforced in the submission phase for final manuscripts. Please allow extra time to fix any formatting errors and use PDF-eXpress to generate a compliant file.
  • Your final paper will be included in IEEEXplore for archival value after the conference. However, IEEE reserves the right to exclude an accepted paper from inclusion in IEEEXplore if it is not presented at the conference.


CAMERA-READY VERSION OF YOUR PAPER:

  • Prepare in the IEEE double-column format using IEEE Conference Proceeding templates (see also General Formatting Instructions at the bottom of this page).
    1. For IEEEtran class in LaTeX, use the following as the first line in your LaTeX source file: \documentclass[10pt,conference]{IEEEtran}.
    2. DO NOT ADD ANY PAGE NUMBERING, HEADER, OR FOOTER (other than the copyright info discussed below, if applicable).

 

  • Insert an appropriate copyright notice on the first page (bottom left) as follows:
    1. For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
    2. For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 979-8-3503-0500-5/23/$31.00 ©2023 Crown
    3. For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 979-8-3503-0500-5/23/$31.00 ©2023 European Union
    4. For all other papers the copyright notice is: 979-8-3503-0500-5/23/$31.00 ©2023 IEEE

 

  • Latex users can add the following lines just before \begin{document} for the copyright notice to show up (shown below as an example for the fourth case above): \IEEEoverridecommandlockouts\IEEEpubid{\makebox[\columnwidth]{ 979-8-3503-0500-5/23\$31.00~\copyright~2023 IEEE \hfill} \hspace{\columnsep}\makebox[\columnwidth]{ }}

 

  • MSWord users can use: ‘Insert’ -> ‘Text box’, insert the appropriate copyright notice in the textbox, and place the box (without border) at the bottom left on the first page only.

 

    1. Create an IEEE PDF eXpress account (use conference ID: 59325x).
    2. Use ‘new user’ if you haven’t used this site before.
    3. Use IEEE PDF eXpress to check if your PDF file is Xplore-compliant, OR, else, you can use this site to convert your source files into an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF file (e.g., for LaTeX users, create a zip file that includes dvi and your eps figure files all together, and then upload the zip file for the system to convert into a compliant PDF file; for MSWord users, upload the Word file and let it convert and return a compliant PDF file).
    4. Download the generated PDF file of your papers.

 

  • To upload your final paper for inclusion in the CERA 2023, please visit the CMT portal
    1. Upload the PDF generated by the IEEE PDF eXpress Website, which is a compliant copy of your camera-ready paper (Do NOT use ‘Approve for collection’ in PDF eXpress, if requested).
    2. Submit your IEEE electronic copyright form by clicking “Copyright” within your author account in the CMT portal.

 

NO-SHOW POLICY:

Papers which are not presented or presented by a non-author without prior written approval from the Conference Chairs will be removed from the final conference proceedings before publication in IEEE Xplore®. No refund will be made to authors of these papers.

 

REGISTRATION:

  • Registration fees are not refundable or non-transferable.
  • Registration fee is inclusive of all applicable taxes.
  • Registration fee includes attendance at all technical sessions, keynote speaker sessions and tutorials.
  • Registrants availing registration under IEEE member category, must have a currently valid IEEE membership card.
  • Please keep a copy of the generated transaction ID by the payment gateway as well as by your bank. These may be required, if you need to track your payment/registration later.
  • Please note, CERA 23 organizing committee will not be responsible for any financial loss caused by improper transactions during registration process.
